Tesla Powerwall, Huawei LUNA2000, EcoFlow and Jackery are the most visible residential energy-storage names in Thailand, followed by BYD Battery-Box, Deye, Bluetti, Anker SOLIX, Growatt and Dyness. Together, these ten brands cover the fixed home-storage systems and portable power products that Thai consumers, installers and retail channels can readily see, compare and buy.

This is a brand-awareness and retail-visibility ranking, not a sales ranking. It is intended to answer a practical question: when a buyer, installer or distributor in Thailand starts looking for residential energy storage, which brands are most likely to appear in the local market? For CVC’s own product routes, see the Energy Storage Batteries, Inverter Solutions and Portable Power categories.

How the Thailand ranking was built

CVC assessed five types of local evidence for the full year of 2025:

  • Thai-language media, blogs, YouTube reviews and community discussions show which brands are already part of the local conversation.
  • Shopee Thailand, Lazada Thailand, TikTok Shop and official online stores show whether buyers can find a product and a visible local price.
  • Thai distributors, authorized installers and nationwide service partners indicate whether a brand has a route to installation and after-sales support.
  • Retail and building-market entry, including chains such as HomePro, Siam Global House and Banana IT, shows whether the brand reaches beyond specialist energy channels.
  • A Thai-language website, Thai subsidiary or local operating team makes the brand easier to research and trust before a purchase.

The final list combines fixed residential energy-storage brands and portable power-station brands because both product groups compete for attention in Thailand’s residential retail market. The ranking does not claim that a highly visible brand has the highest shipment volume or the largest installed base.

Thailand’s top 10 energy storage brands in 2025

10 Dyness Fixed residential storage Thai authorized distribution and documented local residential installations Channel visibility is stronger than public retail-price visibility

Prices above are indicative retail signals observed in the Thai market, not installed project quotations. They can change with capacity, inverter selection, import costs, promotions, VAT, installation and warranty terms.

1. Tesla Powerwall: the strongest premium home-storage name

Tesla Powerwall is the clearest example of brand recognition leading product visibility. In Thailand, many buyers encounter Powerwall through Tesla’s electric-vehicle reputation before they begin comparing home batteries. That makes the product easy to remember, even when the actual project is still at the quotation stage.

The local market signal is premium rather than mass-market. A visible price around ฿699,000 places a Powerwall-class system well above many modular battery packages. That price should not be compared with a battery module alone: the buyer must check what is included for the inverter interface, gateway, installation, protection equipment, commissioning and after-sales service.

Powerwall is usually a fit for a homeowner who values a recognizable ecosystem, clean residential design and backup capability, and who is prepared to work through a qualified installation route. It is less suitable for a buyer who only wants the lowest cost per kWh or who needs a highly flexible mix of third-party inverter and battery components.

For a Thai buyer, the key checks are the current installation partner, grid-connection requirements, backup-load design, warranty territory and the response process if the system reports a fault. The presence of a recognizable brand does not remove the need to verify the local service contract.

2. Huawei LUNA2000: solar installed base creates a strong head start

Huawei LUNA2000 benefits from a large existing solar ecosystem in Thailand. The research used for this ranking cites more than 80,000 Thai households using Huawei PV equipment, giving the battery a ready-made audience of homeowners who already recognize the inverter and monitoring platform. The same market evidence also points to strong growth in residential-battery demand and Huawei’s entry into a major Thai building-material retail channel.

The LUNA2000 system is often considered by buyers who already have, or plan to install, a Huawei solar inverter. Modular battery design makes the capacity conversation easier: the buyer can start with a smaller configuration and assess whether additional storage is needed, subject to the exact inverter and battery combination.

Visible product listings around ฿125,000–฿145,000 make Huawei easier to compare online, but those figures should not be read as the complete installed price. The final design still depends on usable capacity, backup output, the number of battery modules, installation conditions and whether the home needs whole-home or selected-load backup.

The practical advantage of LUNA2000 in Thailand is not only the hardware. It is the familiarity of the surrounding solar ecosystem. Buyers should still confirm local stock, commissioning responsibility, firmware support, compatible inverter models and the response time for warranty work.

3. EcoFlow: the most visible portable-power route for residential buyers

EcoFlow sits between emergency backup, outdoor living and small residential energy storage. Its Thailand visibility comes from a local distributor, official and reseller marketplace listings, Thai-language product content and a clearer after-sales story than many imported portable products. A DELTA 3 listing around ฿31,000 gives consumers a concrete reference point for a mid-capacity portable system.

EcoFlow is a natural fit for customers who do not want a fixed installation. A content creator travelling between locations may need to run cameras, laptops, lights, network equipment and battery chargers. A family camping trip may need refrigeration, phones, lighting and a small cooking appliance. A shop or home office may want short-duration backup without redesigning the electrical panel.

The selection mistake is to compare only the battery capacity printed on the box. Check continuous AC output, surge capability, usable energy, recharge time, solar-input limits, transfer time if backup is important, and whether the Thai warranty is handled locally. A product can have enough watt-hours for a night but still trip if the connected appliance has a high starting surge.

Check portable-power availability

4. Jackery: strong recognition in the outdoor and creator market

Jackery has built a clear Thai consumer path through its Thai-language website and broad marketplace presence. The brand is particularly easy to encounter in outdoor, camping, travel and content-creator discussions, where buyers are looking for a product that can be purchased quickly and used without a permanent installation.

An Explorer 2000 Pro 2 listing around ฿31,900 gives the market a useful reference for a higher-capacity portable unit. The right buying question is not simply “How large is the battery?” A creator should list every device used during a shooting day, record the wattage of each charger and light, then add a reserve for conversion losses and weather-related solar variation.

For example, a 100 W laptop, 40 W monitor, 20 W router and 30 W lighting load used for eight hours would consume about 1.52 kWh before inverter and charging losses. A buyer planning for a long outdoor workday should therefore look beyond a nominal 1.5 kWh label and check usable energy, continuous output and recharge options.

Jackery is attractive when portability and simple user experience matter more than fixed-home integration. Before ordering in Thailand, confirm the exact model generation, plug standard, solar-panel compatibility, service location and whether the listed price includes the accessories needed for the intended scenario.

Check channel availability

5. BYD Battery-Box: EV recognition supports fixed-storage visibility

BYD Battery-Box benefits from the same brand spillover that helps other large EV and battery manufacturers enter the residential conversation. BYD is already a familiar name to many Thai EV buyers, and that familiarity makes a home battery from the same group easier to consider than an unknown battery brand.

In the Thai retail evidence reviewed for this ranking, Battery-Box products are visible through marketplace listings, including hot-selling listings for the Battery-Box L5.0 family. However, the public price picture is less consistent than for portable brands. This means that a buyer is more likely to enter through an installer quotation than through a simple online checkout.

Battery-Box should be evaluated as part of a complete system. The critical questions are inverter compatibility, high-voltage or low-voltage architecture, usable energy, maximum charge and discharge power, parallel expansion, communication protocol and the installer’s commissioning experience. A battery that looks attractive on a per-kWh basis may not be the best fit if it forces an unsuitable inverter or leaves the backup loads underpowered.

For distributors, BYD’s strongest advantage is the credibility of a major battery and EV group. For installers, the priority is obtaining current compatibility lists, stock information and warranty procedures for the exact Battery-Box generation being quoted.

6. Deye: installer-led visibility with a broad value proposition

Deye’s Thai visibility is driven more by installers and channel partners than by premium consumer branding. A nationwide exclusive distribution agreement reported in 2025, combined with Shopee, Lazada and TikTok listings, gives the brand multiple paths into the market. Thai-language comparisons also make Deye easier for price-sensitive buyers to evaluate.

A visible 5 kW hybrid-inverter listing around ฿47,900 is useful as a channel indicator, but it is not the price of a complete home energy-storage system. The battery, mounting, protection equipment, meter or CT arrangement, wiring, installation and grid-approval work still need to be priced separately.

Deye is relevant for homeowners who want solar self-consumption, backup loads and a flexible inverter-battery combination. It can also appeal to installers building different system sizes from a common inverter family. The buyer should check the exact battery compatibility list, MPPT voltage range, EPS or backup output, phase configuration, firmware version and local service responsibility.

The brand’s value in Thailand is practical: it gives the channel a product family that can be compared on specification and price. That makes the quality of the installer’s system design especially important. Two quotations using the same Deye model can provide very different backup outcomes if the battery size, essential-load panel and protection design are different.

7. Bluetti: a broad portable range from entry-level backup to large units

Bluetti is visible in Thailand through the Lazada BLUETTI OFFICIAL SHOP, third-party Shopee listings and a product range that spans small emergency power units to larger portable systems. An EB3A listing around ฿10,600 speaks to the entry-level buyer, while an AC200MAX listing around ฿60,000 reaches customers who want substantially more energy and output without a fixed home installation.

This range makes Bluetti easy to discover but also creates a model-selection problem. A buyer should compare continuous AC output, battery chemistry, usable capacity, charging time, solar-input range, expansion options and weight. The smallest unit may be perfect for communication equipment and lighting but unsuitable for a refrigerator or induction cooker. A large unit may meet the power requirement but be too heavy for frequent transport.

For a small business or home office, calculate the critical load first. If the required load is 600 W for four hours, the ideal energy requirement is 2.4 kWh. After allowing for conversion and reserve, a buyer may need a unit with a nominal capacity materially above 2.4 kWh. The same method prevents overbuying when the actual load is only a router, laptop and LED lights.

Thai buyers should also confirm whether the listing is from the official channel, how the warranty is processed and whether replacement batteries or accessories are available locally.

Check Bluetti availability

8. Anker SOLIX: charger-brand recognition lowers the entry barrier

Anker SOLIX enters the Thai residential-storage conversation with an advantage that many newer energy brands do not have: buyers already know Anker from chargers, power banks and consumer electronics accessories. That existing trust helps SOLIX attract customers who are buying their first portable power station.

Thai marketplace listings commonly place SOLIX products in a broad range around ฿10,000–฿50,000, depending on capacity and output. This makes the product relevant to several use cases: phone and laptop backup, mobile work, weekend camping, network continuity during short outages and small appliances with moderate starting power.

The buyer should avoid assuming that a familiar charger brand automatically means the power station matches every appliance. Check the AC waveform, continuous and peak output, battery capacity, charging-input limits, fan noise, weight and local warranty. For refrigerators, pumps and tools, the startup current can be more important than the advertised running wattage.

Anker SOLIX is strongest where consumer convenience and portability matter. It is not a substitute for a professionally designed fixed ESS when the requirement is whole-home backup, automatic transfer, three-phase loads or multi-day autonomy.

Check SOLIX availability

9. Growatt: a value-oriented fixed-storage name with local operating presence

Growatt’s position in Thailand comes from its solar and hybrid-inverter footprint, local operating presence and installer familiarity. It is often considered by buyers who want a practical home solar-plus-storage system without moving immediately to the highest-priced premium ecosystem.

Unlike a portable power station, a Growatt fixed system is normally evaluated through the whole design: PV array, hybrid inverter, battery modules, essential-load circuit, monitoring, protection and installation. A lower equipment price is useful only if the system can deliver the required backup power and can be serviced locally.

For a homeowner, the important questions are whether the chosen battery is compatible with the exact inverter, how much power can be discharged continuously, whether the system supports backup during grid failure, how quickly the backup circuit transfers, and how the installer handles firmware and warranty cases. For a distributor, the local subsidiary and installer network can make Growatt easier to support than a brand that has only marketplace listings.

Growatt’s visibility is therefore less about a single headline product and more about repeated exposure across Thai solar quotations. That makes it a useful benchmark for value-focused residential projects.

10. Dyness: local distribution and real installations support credibility

Dyness reaches the Thai market through authorized distribution and installer activity. A Thai North authorized distributor and a documented villa installation in Pattaya in April 2025 provide more useful evidence than a product listing alone: they show that the brand is being discussed in a real residential project context.

Dyness is relevant to buyers comparing modular battery systems for villas, homes with solar PV and projects that need future expansion. The product decision should be made together with the inverter, because the battery’s voltage range, communication protocol, charge and discharge limits and expansion rules determine the actual system performance.

For a villa owner, the first design step is to separate critical and non-critical loads. Lighting, internet equipment, security systems, refrigerators and selected outlets may need backup; water heaters, large air conditioners and other high-power loads may not. Once the essential load is clear, the installer can size both the battery energy and the inverter output instead of selling capacity alone.

Dyness has less consumer-facing price visibility than the leading portable brands, but its installer-led presence gives it a credible route into fixed residential projects. Buyers should request the exact model, usable capacity, warranty terms, local service contact and a written backup-load design.

What this ranking means for Thai buyers and distributors

Brand visibility is useful, but it is only the first filter. A brand can be well known and still be difficult to install, service or source for a specific project. Conversely, a less visible brand can be a good technical fit if the local partner, documents and warranty route are strong.

The ranking also shows why fixed storage and portable power should be compared carefully. Portable products often have higher consumer visibility because they are easier to purchase, easier to demonstrate and generally priced in the ฿10,000–฿70,000 range. Fixed systems require a site survey, electrical design and installation, so their visibility is more dependent on installers and distributors. Buyers who need a product shortlist can compare CVC’s Southeast Asia storage solutions and product downloads before asking for a quotation.

Before comparing quotations, check five things:

  1. The exact product type. Is the requirement a portable power station, a fixed AC-coupled battery, a hybrid solar system or a full backup system?
  2. The real load. Record running watts, starting current and operating hours for every critical appliance.
  3. Usable energy and output. Do not compare nominal kWh without checking usable capacity, continuous output and peak or surge power.
  4. The local service route. Confirm who performs commissioning, firmware updates, fault diagnosis and warranty replacement in Thailand.
  5. The commercial route. For a distributor or installer, verify MOQ, lead time, export documents, certifications, spare parts and an alternative model if the first choice is out of stock. CVC’s Distributor Program is the relevant route when the need is a continuing channel-supply discussion rather than a one-off retail purchase.

Brands close to the top 10 or with limited Thai retail evidence

GoodWe, AlphaESS, LVTOPSUN and Luxpower have relevant Thai channels or products and should not be ignored in a project-level comparison. Their current visibility was slightly below the ten brands above because the combined evidence was weaker across Thai-language content, retail availability, distributor coverage or local price transparency.

Ugreen is familiar to Thai consumers as a charger and power-accessory brand, but its PowerRoam residential-storage line was not sufficiently visible in Thai retail evidence to enter this overall list. CST, EVE Energy and Sunwoda are important battery-industry names, yet industrial manufacturing presence or global recognition does not automatically translate into a strong Thai residential-retail brand position. Sunwoda’s manufacturing footprint in Chonburi, for example, is a production signal rather than proof of broad consumer awareness.

Several well-known European, Japanese and Korean storage brands were also not placed in the top 10 because a Thai retail route, local residential offer or current public evidence was not strong enough during the study period. This is a visibility result, not a technical-quality judgment.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the most well-known home energy-storage brand in Thailand?

Tesla Powerwall ranked first in this 2025 visibility assessment because of Tesla’s strong consumer recognition, Thai media attention and a visible local installation route. That does not mean it has the highest Thai shipments or the largest installed base.

Is EcoFlow a home battery brand or a portable power brand?

EcoFlow is primarily evaluated here as a portable power brand. Its products can support home backup, but they should not be treated as a direct replacement for a professionally installed fixed ESS when a project needs automatic whole-home backup or high-power multi-day operation.

Are the prices in the table complete installation prices?

No. They are indicative visible retail signals. Fixed-system quotations can add batteries, inverters, protection devices, wiring, installation, commissioning, permits and after-sales service; portable products may have separate accessories and delivery terms.

How do I choose between a fixed ESS and a portable power station?

Choose a fixed ESS when the home needs a designed backup circuit, solar integration, automatic operation or larger daily cycling. Choose portable power when mobility, simple setup and short-duration backup are more important. Start with the critical load and required runtime before choosing a product family.

Can a well-known brand guarantee local support?

No. Ask for the Thai distributor or installer name, warranty territory, service process, replacement lead time and escalation contact. The local support route should be part of the quotation, not an assumption based only on the logo.

Conclusion

Thailand’s most visible residential energy-storage brands in 2025 are not defined by one product category. Tesla and Huawei lead the fixed-storage conversation through ecosystem strength and local solar visibility. EcoFlow, Jackery, Bluetti and Anker SOLIX reach buyers through portable, easy-to-purchase products. BYD, Deye, Growatt and Dyness are strengthened by installer, distributor and system-integration channels.

For a buyer or distributor, the top 10 is a starting point, not a substitute for checking the exact model, compatibility, local service and project economics. The strongest brand for a Thai project is the one that matches the load, installation route, after-sales capacity and sourcing plan.

Research basis and scope

This article is based on CVC Energy’s 2025 Thailand residential-retail energy-storage visibility study. The study reviewed Thai-language content, marketplace and official-store availability, visible retail prices, distributor and installer evidence, retail-market entry and Thai-language brand or local-company pages. It did not use a public consumer survey, fabricated marketplace sales counts or an undisclosed shipment dataset. For technical pre-purchase questions, buyers can also use CVC’s energy storage FAQ as a starting point, then confirm the exact model documents with the supplier.

Because marketplace prices, stock and distributor arrangements change, the final published version should refresh prices, links and local service details immediately before publication. The ranking should be read as a transparent market-visibility snapshot rather than a claim about technical superiority, sales volume or market share.
